Commerce Drive Chester Township, PA 19014 The 1 st Special Operations Contracting Squadron at Hurlburt Field FL intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Alloy Surfaces Co. Inc., for Line Item 0001: Infrared Marker Device - CPM. This award is restricted to Alloy Surfaces Co. Inc., and is under North American Industry Classification System Code 325998 with a small business size standard of 500. This sole source action is being accomplished under the authority of FAR 13.501. The government believes that Infrared Marker Device - CPM is a patented and proprietary commercial product that can only be acquired through Alloy Surfaces Co. Inc., and no other products are available that can support the Omni-Directional infrared signature, has 15+ miles visibility, and environmentally friendly. This notice is NOT a request for quote. However, interested companies shall submit to the contracting officer a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 10 pages in length, single spaced, and 12 point font minimum) demonstrating ability to perform the requested services at or before 1:00 PM (central), 31 May 2011. Any information received will only be considered for the purpose of conducting a competitive procurement. The contract award number is FA4417-11-P-0077 and is below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. A firm-fixed price order will be issued in writing. Anticipated award is 03 June 2011.
