- Description
- 05/31/2011 Amendment 4 questions and answers Questions and Answers Q9. I don't need courier authorization to pick up the classified document, do I? A9. Once your company is found eligible to retrieve the classified document, you need to follow the instructions sent via email. You must show courier authorization to take the document. Q10. Why was my company determined to be ineligible to receive the classified document? A10. I apologize; in my email stating the eligibility/ineligibility, I will state the reason. Q11. You've said my company is ineligible to receive the classified document; what do I do now? A11. You decide your course of action. You may still be able to attend the Vendor Conference (deadline for a visitors request was Friday May 27). To retrieve the classified document, you may submit the full name and telephone number of the company point of contact for your facility clearance/safeguarding location (such as your SCIF credentialing). To retrieve the classified document, you may submit another CAGE and review/storage location. The deadline to pick up a classified document is June 23; you'll need to submit the CAGE and review/storage location before that. Q12. Can you tell me whether I'm able to attend the Vendor Conference? A12. The office checking the Visitor Request is working diligently to accomplish this. Telling me if the prospective attendee has a green badge speeds up the process; please let me know if any prospective attendee has a green badge. Q13. I'm having difficulty communicating with the point of contact for this acquisition; that's why I called you. Can you help me? A13. You need to resolve your internal communication issues and not expect the Contracting Officer for this acquisition to do so. Emails are sent to the point of contact. If you need an additional point of contact, please designate that person via email to me. Please do not call me. Q14. I've sent information to you via JWICS. Will you respond? A14. No. You need to follow the procedures on www.fbo.gov. Do not send classified email to me unless requested to do so. Q15. How do I submit a Visitor Request? This is my first time contacting DIA. A15. You need to follow the instructions on www.fbo.gov. There's an attachment that details what to do. If you have questions, submit those via email.
