- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation has an urgent requirement, under FAR 6.302 "Unusual and Compelling Urgency", for Hazardous Waste Disposal services within the Hoover Dam area. The Contractor shall provide proper shipment and disposal of hazardous waste from Hoover Dam to an identified and authorized treatment, storage and disposal facility. The place of waste pick-up will be the Hoover Dam Central Warehouse, South U.S. Highway 93, Boulder City, NV 89005. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. To facilitate electronic quote submissions through FedBizOpps, a Request for Quotation (RFQ No. R11PS30314) is being issued subsequent to this Combined Solicitation/Synopsis. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 2005-50. This requirement is a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is: 562211, Hazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 562211, and the size standard is $12.5 Million. Line item 0001 - Emergency Hazardous Waste Transport and Disposal - The vendor shall Inventory, Label, Pickup, Transport & Properly Dispose of, various forms of Hazardous & Non-Hazardous Waste, as described in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The SOW is attached to the RFQ, posted on the FebBizOpps.gov website. Determination of award will be based on the lowest-priced responsive quote from a responsible offeror. The following clauses and provisions are applicable to this commercial item acquisition: FAR provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items - Offerors shall include in their offer a completed copy of the provision 52.212-03 or indicate completion of the applicable Online Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA). Offerors may complete the annual representation and certification online at www.orca.bpn.gov. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items. FAR clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items. All questions shall be submitted via e-mail to jschilke@usbr.gov.
