Description

The VA Heartland Network 15 has a requirement for linen (clean and soiled) transportation services to be provided between the VA Medical Center, Leavenworth, KS and the VA Medical Centers located in Wichita, KS; Topeka, KS, Kansas City, MO and Columbia, MO. Contractor shall furnish drivers, tractors and seven (7) 45 ™ trailers. Contract will be for a base period of one year beginning August 1, 2011 through July 31, 2012 with option to renew 4 additional one-year periods. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for Small Business concerns. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals will be evaluated on price, equipment/personnel and past performance in accordance with the evaluation procedures of the solicitation. Veteran-Owned Small Business and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Status will be given more favorable consideration. Request for Quotation will be available on or about June 1, 2011. Due date for receipt of offers is June 28, 2011, 2:00 p.m. CST. Anticipated award date is July 18, 2011.
