- This is a notice of intent, not a request for a proposal. A solicitation document will not be issued and proposals will not be requested. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), Intramural Research Program intends to solicit, negotiate and award a purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Li-Cor, Inc., 4647 Superior Street, Lincoln, NE 68504 for the following items: Part No./ Qty/Description:9260-01NC - Qty 1 - Odyssey SA Infrared Imaging System*Odyssey SA Instrument*Odyssey SA Application Software*Odyssey SA Accessory Pack* Installation & Training 9260-510 - Qty 1 - Odyssey SA Unlimited Users LicenseUnlimited users license for Odyssey SA Infrared Imaging System Software 9300-91 - Qty 1 - Laptop ComputerHigh resolution laptop configuration for additional mobility of the Pearl Imager. (Note: This cannot replace the tower computer that is standard with the Pearl, as the laptop configurations do not accommodate multiple Ethernet ports.)The acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition FAR 13 and is exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6, Competition Requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government.
