- Performance Work Statement with requried specifications for tungsten powder The Operational Contracting Division, Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for tungsten powder. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The announcement number is F1TBAP1087A001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 331492 with a size standard of 750 employees. This solicitation is set aside 100% for small business. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. 15,000 lbs of tungsten powder to follow the specification as indicated in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) (see attached). Quoted price should include FOB Destination, delivery schedule as follows: 5,000 lbs by or earlier than 30 June 2011 5,000 lbs by or earlier than 07 July 2011 5,000 lbs by or earlier than 14 July 2011 All quotes should include the documents required by DFARS 252.225-7000 and DFARS 252.212-7000. The technical requirements on the item are found on the attached PWS document. This solicitation is being conducted under the provisions of FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items.
