Description: Pre-Solicitation notice VA-243-11-RQ-0328 published on May 29, 2011 for the "REFURBISH MEDICAL MOBILE CENTER" requirement for Hudson Valley VA Medical Center has been modified. The modification is adding site visit to visually see the unit before submitting in proposals. ALL vendors are high recommended / encouraged but not required to see the unit during site visit which will be conducted on June 8, 2011 at 10:00 AM. For site visit contact Contracting Officers Technical Representative (COTR) Peter Bambino @ 914-737-4400, x3192 - Peter.Bambino@va.gov OR Brenda Smith @ 914-737-4400, x3269 - Brenda.Smith@va.gov in advance at least an hour before site visit to schedule an appointment so see the unit. Also, following questions has been asked by vendors; below find the questions & answers Ś Questions: Q1. #15 - Could it be a typo? The only part we could find that has the requirements listed is part # BR5001. There does not appear to be a part # BR5031. Q2. #16 - This particular stool is only manufactured in the UK. Am I to assume that we are just to find an equivalent? Q3. #17 - Is everything supposed to be a # 767? Is the first number - 797 a typo? Answers: A1. # 15 is BR5001 is correct. Color to be specified by interior design staff. The 5031 is a typographical error, A2. # 16 yes we must comply with applicable laws so an equivalent product must be specified, A3. # 17 yes the 797 is a typographical error. It should be a 76791-11MPX 767 integrated diagnostic wall system or equivalent.
