Solicitation (RFP)# HSTS01-11-R-ENV004 - DHS Form 1100-6 Non-Disclosure Agreement Attachment Solicitation (RFP)# HSTS01-11-R-ENV004 - Historical Contract Data Attachment Solicitation (RFP)# HSTS01-11-R-ENV004 - List of TSA Facilities Attachment Solicitation (RFP)# HSTS01-11-R-ENV004 - List of Federalized Airports Attachment Solicitation (RFP)# HSTS01-11-R-ENV004 SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is soliciting proposals for "National Hazardous Materials Management and Disposal Services (VAP)". This procurement is full and open and will be conducted in accordance with FAR Subpart 15. As outlined in section L7., "Industry Day" on page 54 of the RFP, TSA will conduct an Industry Day at TSA Headquarters in Arlington, VA on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 1:30pm. TSA headquarters is located at 601 South 12th Street, Arlington, VA, directly across from the Pentagon City Metro Station. All interested parties are invited to attend. Please note attendance at Industry Day is NOT mandatory for responding to this solicitation but is highly encouraged. All interested Offerors who plan to attend Industry Day must notify Evelyn Tyndell at Evelyn.Tyndell@dhs.gov no later than 3pm local time (Washington, DC) on Friday, June 24, 2011, with the following information: Name and Company Name. Interested parties must attend Industry Day in person and each firm is limited to two (2) attendees. All questions regarding this solicitation will be accepted prior to the questions deadline on July 1, 2011 and all answers will be posted via amendment to www.fbo.gov as soon as practicable after the questions submission deadline. Proposals shall be submitted via email no later than 4:00pm local time (Washington, DC) on Monday, July 18, 2011. A performance based, firm fixed price contract award is estimated on or about October 18, 2011 with an effective start date on or about December 11, 2011. The total period of performance of the resultant contract will be a total of five (5) years; a one-year base period with four (4) one-year option periods. Place of Performance: Continental United States, Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, US Virgin Islands and US Territories. [End] PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will solicit proposals to provide environmental management services for TSA field offices nationwide. Services include compliance management, collection, storage, packaging, transportation and disposal of hazardous materials voluntarily abandoned at airport security checkpoints and other TSA facilities, including other hazardous waste generated by the TSA. The contractor must be able to provide all services to all airport locations throughout the Continental United States, Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, US Virgin Islands and US Territories. This acquisition is a full and open procurement and will be conducted in accordance with FAR Subpart 15. TSA anticipates publishing the RFP on or about April 26, 2011 on the Federal Business Opportunities website (FEDBIZOPPS), with an industry day with a site visit taking place on or about May 10, 2011 and proposals due on or about June 1, 2011. A fixed price incentive (firm target) (FPI(F)) award is estimated on or about September 20, 2011 with an effective start date on or about October 11, 2011, there will be an extended vetting period and an ingress transition period ending on or about March 10, 2012. The total period of performance of the resultant contract will be a total of five (5) years; a one-year base period with four (4) one-year option periods. This notice is not considered to be a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited; no basis for a claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this notice or Government use of any information provided. Request for the solicitation will not be accepted, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION. [End]
