Description

Drawing Request for Quote The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Acquisition Management Division intends to procure four each superconducting coaxial cable assemblies per attached drawing and technical specifications. Please see attachments. The proposed contract action is a request for quote for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate under the authority of FAR Part 13.104, Promoting Competition - The contracting officer must promote competition to the maximum extent practicable to obtain supplies and services from the source whose offer is the most advantageous to the Government, considering the administrative cost of the purchase. The NAICS classification is 423610, Electrical Apparatus and Equipment, Wiring Supplies, and Related Equipment Merchant Wholesalers. The small business size standard is 100 employees.
