- Description
- This requirement is planned as a sole source acquisition to The Boeing Company under the Eagle Talon contract (F33657-01-D-0026). This will be a one year base period with 2 one year options. This Radar Enterprise requirement is to provide for the continued availability of operational APG-63(V)1, APG-63(V)2, and APG-63(V)3 Radars after aircraft installation. The Radar Enterprise includes the repair of all field failures, the continued parts obsolescence management of the Radar (APG-63(V)1 and APG-63(V)3 configuration only), maintaining the form, fit, function and interface (F 3 I) of the Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and Built In Test (BIT) software, and the provision of configuration accountability of the fielded Radar data. This shall include Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for Radar System Support along with associated travel. Receiver/exciter installations, APG-63(V)2 depot repair sparing, and APG-63(V)3 rewire delta kits are also included in this requirement. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received within 45 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a future competitive procurement. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. Instead, the policies contained in Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, will be used. Foreign contractors cannot perform at the prime contractor level. NO DATA OR DRAWING AVAILABLE.
