- Solicitation #SPM7M811R0006 RESPONSE DATE: July 20, 2011 NAICS: 336413 A firm, fixed price contract is anticipated for 121 each of NSN 1560-01-382-6590; Cover, access, air craft being bought in accordance with: L-3 COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION (05395) P/N 7406-40500-1 I/A/W DRAWING NR 05395 7406-40500. CRITICAL APPLICATION ITEM. Based on Market research, this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The required quantity of 121 will be shipped as follows: 10 each to ( W25G1U) NEW CUMBERLAND PA 17070-5002; and 108 each to (W62G2T) TRACY CA 95304-5000 and 3 each to (SW3119) Robins AFB Georgia 31098-1887. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of December 1, 2010. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. There are no technical drawings/bid sets available. This solicitation is not set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance. The required delivery is 250 days. One of more of the item under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer.
