The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 22 Network Contract Activity (NCA) has a requirement from the VA San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS) for the following medical laboratory testing and analysis services: DescriptionCPT Code 1 HLA Typing83891, 83900, 83912, 83896 2 DRVV Test, Quantitative85613 3 D-Dimer Quant*85379 4 MTB Probe87188 5 Cocci Comp Fix86635 6 Methotrexate Test80299 7 Fungal Mic/Ea Drug87186 8 Chromosome Karyotyping88230, 88262, 88291 9 FISH Studies88271, 88275, 88237, 88291 10 Jak2 Mutation83891, 83898, 83896, 83912 11 Block88305 12 Immunoperoxidase88342 13 Recut88305 14 Unstained Slide88305 15 Stain I88312 16 Stain II88313 17 Special Rush Processingn/a 18 Special Rush Pickup/Deliveryn/a These testing and analysis services must be performed by a reference laboratory within very close proximity to the VASDHS to allow for pickup of specimens and delivery of results, and to maintain specimen stability. The VA NCA intends to solicit quotations on a competitive basis for a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery contract for one year. No set-asides apply to this procurement. The solicitation is expected to be posted no later than June 8, 2011, and quotations will be due by June 15, 2011.
