Description
JOB DESCRIPTIONA. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide a new irrigation well at Lindau Wetland Production Area (WPA). The major features of the work are as follows:1. Drill a well hole approximately 240 feet deep to obtain a flow yield of 1,200 to 1,400 gallons per minute (gpm). The well hole diameter shall be adequate to receive a 16 inch diameter casing. New well to be drilled is approximately 1,500 feet NE of exiting well site.2. Provide and install 16 inch diameter casing.3. Provide and install 16 inch perforated casing and gravel pack.4. Develop, test, and register the new irrigation well.5. Provide and install a vertical turbine pump, gear drive, diesel engine, piping, and flow meter. Equipment to be provided and installed shall meet Section IV requirements.6. Design and construct two reinforced concrete slabs to support a diesel tank, a diesel engine, as well as a tin roof cover to protect the diesel engine. Tin roof cover to be constructed over the diesel engine shall be same type as shown in drawings.7. Backfill and seal one existing irrigation well (Well ID 78220) in accordance with the State of Nebraska Regulations Governing Water Well Construction, Pump Installation and Water Well Decommissioning Standards.B. The Contractor shall complete the permit forms and procure all permits required at the Contractors own expense. The Contractor shall have all certificates and licenses required by law for the execution of the work and shall comply with all Federal, State, or local laws, ordinances or rules and regulations relating to performance of the work.ng deteriorated residential fences. New 5 fence and gates shall be installed as indicated on drawings. LOCATION AND INSPECTION OF SITE A. The project site is the Lindau WPA which is managed by the Rainwater Basin Wetland Management District (WMD). The address of the Rainwater WMD headquarters is 73746 V Road, P.O. Box 8, Funk, NE 68940. B. The Contractor is urged to visit the site and become familiar with existing conditions. Failure to ascertain the nature, location, and conditions which affect the work will not relieve the Contractor from the responsibility for successfully performing the work without additional expense to the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION The estimated magnitude of construction is between $30,000.00 and $100,000.00. The total performance period is 60 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is offered as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS code is 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction, and the size standard is $33.5 Million.
