- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because there is only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements (FAR 6.302-1). See posted J&A for further information. This contract would require SeaArk Marine, Inc to repair Crack in Keel, Inspect and Repair severe gouges in hull bottom and sides, Inspect and Repair hull crack in bow and apex area, Repair\Replace forward push knee as required, repair\replace sheerline bumper and attachment angles, Update dash, Steering system, controls and electrical panels, Replace one windshield wiper, Repair\replace VHF antenna and coax cable, Removable Air Conditioner, Replace Air Conditioner Mounting, Fabricate and Install 2 Deck sockets for dive ladder, Update\Replace fuel vent system and Ball Valves, Repair\Replace Bilge Pump thru-hull coupling, Install customer furnished twin 150HP Evinrude ETEC outboard engines (counter rotating), Fabricate and install doubler plate on keel (1/3 hull length), Update\replace ALL electrical wiring throughout vessel, De-rig complete boat, repaint Interior and Exterior, Replace ALL decals, Remove floor plate and replace ALL hull foam, Repair\replace outboard engine mounting bracket. Major Repairs for 29ft SeaArk Dive Boat which was originally constructed by Sea Ark Boat Manufacturing Inc. Repairs required are extensive and required modifications that could affect original factory certifications of load limitations and manning requirements. Original manufacturer must certify all modifications and insure all marked and plated requirements are accurate and adhere to all requirements for the sea worthiness of the vessel.
