- PROJECT NAME: Paint IDIQ for USAG-Yongsan and Kunsan AB This project is will be funded per Task Order. The 411th Contracting Support Brigade, Yongsan, Korea, intends to issue a solicitation (W91QVN-11-R-0024 ) for two fixed price Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contracts per location for Painting projects to include all necessary prep, including but not limited to cleaning surfaces, caulking joints, puttying of defects and nail holds, masking and protecting of non-painted surfaces and materials. Work performed for this project will be located for USAG-Yongsan, K-16 & Kunsan Air Base. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code is 238320, Painting and Wall Covering Contractors. This acquisition will be full and open competitive requirement. The competition will not be limited. All sources may submit a proposal or quote as applicable. However, the Republic of Korea (ROK)-United States (U.S.) Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), precludes the U.S. Government from granting Invited Contractor or Technical Representative status to any offeror, for this requirement. All sources submitting a proposal or quote, as applicable, including U.S. sources, must already have, or obtain the requisite business licenses directly from the ROK Government, and conduct business in accordance with all applicable ROK laws, including but not limited to, rules and policies regarding labor, taxation, and immigration. The Government anticipates a performance period of 30 calendar days from the date Notice to Proceed (NTP) is given for each Task Order. The solicitation will be issued as a request for proposal utilizing FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation process. The magnitude of this project is expected to between $1,000,000 to 5,000,000. The Government anticipates release of the solicitation on or about June 6, 2011. The solicitation and all amendments will be issued through the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi and Federal Business Opportunities Website (FedBizOpps) at https://www.fbo.gov/. Offerors are required to check the above websites daily to be notified of any changes to this solicitation. These are projected/tentative dates and are subject to change. Hard/paper copies of the solicitation will not be provided. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps website to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The closing date and bid opening time will be identified in the solicitation package. The Government is not responsible for any loss of internet connectivity or for an offeror's inability to access the documents posted on the reference webpage's. For planning purposes, a one-day site visit will be held at USAG-Yongsan - dates will be identified in the solicitation and RSVP's will be required. An updated synopsis will also be posted at a later date which will provide additional information in reference to the conference. Interested Offeror's must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Firms can register via the CCR Internet site at http://www.ccr.gov or by contacting the CCR Information Center at 1-888-227-2423. Interested offeror's are required to submit their representations and certifications on-line at http://orca.bpn.gov. You will need your DUNS number and CCR MPIN in order to log into the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website. The award for this procurement will be made in accordance with the applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations. Funding is currently available for this acquisition.
