Description
Bldg 201 Map OSP-3 INDUSTRY DAY 16 JUNE 2011 The Space and Missile Center (SMC), Space Development and Test Directorate (SD), Kirtland AFB, New Mexico is holding an Industry Day to discuss plans for follow-on contract(s) to the Orbital/Suborbital small and medium space lift program (OSP-3). The primary objective of the OSP-3 program is to provide an enhanced capability and flexibility in the development of small and medium launch vehicles and launch services while providing an on-ramp for emerging capability. The OSP-3 program will utilize any combination of commercial and/or Government Furnished Property (GFP) motors to meet a variety of mission and payload requirements. The primary purpose of this Industry Day is to gather industry feedback on the Draft Request for Proposal for OSP-3 released May 19, 2011. The Industry Day will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2011. We will hold a group general session from 8:00AM to 11:30AM to present overview information about the program. Contractors may request optional one-half hour breakout sessions, which will occur from 12:30PM to 4:00PM between company and government representatives for this effort. The location for Industry Day is: Phillips Space Conference Center Building 201 Kirtland AFB, New Mexico (Map Attached) Submit all inquiries or responses to this notice to the Contract Specialist, Anna Ferguson Burkhalter SD/PKTN at anna.ferguson@us.af.mil. RSVPs should include: name and title of all attendees, contact info for the POC, and whether attendees wish to schedule an individual breakout session between their company and the government. Thirty-minute time slots for interested attendees will be scheduled from 12:30PM to 4:00PM, so RSVPs should also mention any time constraints. For base access please provide Last Name, First Name, Middle Initial, and Last Four of SSN for each attendee no later than June 10, 2011. Individuals will need to have a valid Driver's License, Registration and proof of Insurance to drive on base. Enter through the Carlisle Gate.
