- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a sole source contract to CACI Technologies, 14151 Park Meadow Drive, Chantilly, VA 20151. The intended sole source effort is for services in support of the mission of NAVSEA Maintenance Engineering Division (SEA 04RM) and the commands it supports, to provide services for the continual application, assessment, feedback, and improvement of ship maintenance policy, processes, procedures and technology. These commands include: (1) Program Executive Offices; (2) Military Sealift Command; (3) Fleet Maintenance Offices; (4) Regional Maintenance Centers; (5) Type Commanders, and (6) other Government Maintenance Organizations. The contract will provide: (1) Marine Engineering, (2) Systems Engineering and Analysis, Financial Management, and (4) Information Technology (IT) services across SEA 04RM and its commands. The period of performance for this contract will be for up to one year. This requirement is satisfied under SeaPort-e task order N00178-04-D-4026. This contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). CACI Technologies is the only known company which currently possesses the knowledge and expertise to meet the Navy ™s technical and schedule requirements to support SEA 04RM and its program offices. No other source has the technical capability to perform the work described herein in the time frame required to meet the Navy ™s operational needs. See Note 22.
