- Description
- The purpose of this notice is to amend the original Sources Sought Notice dated November 3, 2010. The Government proposes to solicit a Firm Fixed Price type contract with a variation in quantity to account for the fact that the total flying hours cannot be calculated in advance. The Government anticipates a +/- 5% quantity variation to be reconciled after each performance period. this no additional cost to the Government. Interested parties are invited to provide feedback on whether this amendment would impact the decision to propose on this requirement. Responses due NLT COB 13 June 2011. The Sources Sought notice is a synopsis posted by a government agency that states they are seeking possible sources for a project. It is not a solicitation for work, nor is it a request for proposal. Reference the FAR, Subpart 7.3 and OMB Circular A-76. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a request for proposal and is not considered a commitment by the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this sources sought notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests.

- Address: The place of performance is as follows: The primary place of performance will be within a100km radius centering on the USAFE AGOS, Kaiserstrasse 84, 67661 Kaiserslautern - Einsedlerhof, Germany, approximately 40% of the time. Secondary place of performance is 100km radius centering on the city of 92224 Amberg, Germany at the Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels training ranges, approximately 30% of the time.
