Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, North Texas Veterans Health Care System, 4500 South Lancaster Road, Dallas Tx.-Intent to Sole source procurement under authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source, with Northwest Life Science Specialties LLC., 164520 SE McGillivary Suite 103 PMB 106 Vancouver, WA. 986830 to provide all required labor, material, equipment, services to provide research measurement services for Oxidative stress measurements in blood and urine for research purposes including measurement of lipid oxidation [Malondialdehyde assay (MDA)] in plasma and urine, measurement of protein oxidation (protein carbonyl enzyme immune assay) in plasma and measurement of DNA oxidation [8-hydroxy- deoxyguanosine ELISA (8-OHdG)] in urine. The proposed action is for the supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the supplies/services that will satisfy the agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone request will not be accepted. However, any qualified vendor that determines it can meet the government's requirements may give written notification through e-mail to Contract Specialist, hope.cassady2@va.gov, by June 10, 2011 3:00PM CST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with requirements at no cost or obligation to the government, however the information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no responses are received, the Department of Veterans Affairs, North Texas Veterans Health Care System, Dallas, Texas will proceed to sole source this requirement to Northwest Life Science Specialties.
