Description
On or about 8 June 2011, this office will issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) W9128F-11-T-0059 for the services for a Cultural Resource Investigation on Lands in Montrail County, North Dakota. Quotes will be due by 3:00 P.M. central standard time on 28 June 2011. This Request for Quotation will be set aside for small business participation only under the NAICS Code 541690, Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services, with a size standard of $7.0 million. The services consist of providing Cultural Resource Investigation Services of all lands owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers that are contained within Montrail County, Lake Sakakawea, North Dakota. Cultural Resources are defined as any site, building, district, structure, object, data, or material significant in history, architecture, archeology, or culture. The contractor shall provide personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the investigation in accordance with the standards in the contract. The Contractor must provide or demonstrate access to the following capabilities: 1) Adequate permanent field and laboratory equipment necessary to conduct operations definded in the scope of work. Adequate Geospatial data equipment and GIS data processing equipment; 2) Adequate office space and facilities for analysis of records likely to be obtained from the project, and report preparation. This does not include such specialized facilities as pollen, geochemical, or radiological laboratories, but does include facilities sufficient to properly preserve or stabilize specimens for any subsequent specialized analysis; and 3) Adequate and Global Information System with adequate security measures.
