Description
STATEMENT OF WORK RADIATION ONCOLOGY UC PHYSICIANS 1.3 DESCRIPTIONISPECIFICATIONSIWORK STATEMENT This document is a proposal for a contract for staff Radiation Oncologists for direct patient care - inpatient consults, clinic, treatment plans and administrative time (tumor board, chart review, administrative meetings, etc). The physicians providing services to the VA Medical Center will be required to meet credentialing and privileging requirements, background investigations, and abide by the Bylaws, Rules and Regulations of the medical center. They will have dictation access and abide by VHA requirements for timely record maintenance and other regulatory requirements for the electronic patient record, patient privacy, information security and other mandatory training requirements set forth by the national VI-IA program. 2. The Contractor shall provide Radiation Oncologist (RO) services in accordance with the requirements of this contract. Contractor's employee(s) must be present at the VA Medical Center and must actually be performing the required services of this contract. Coverage will be provided on twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week basis, including weekends and Holidays. Contractor-provided personnel shall be Board Certified, or eligible, by the American Board of Radiation Oncology, and possess a license to practice medicine in good standing in one of these United States. In addition, Contractor personnel shall meet all credentialing requirements of the Cincinnati VA Medical Center, and other VA clinics and facilities as required.
