- This Request for Project Proposals (RPP), NBCH3090001-R-0006, constitutes the entire solicitation for this effort. No further Request for Business Development Proposal or additional solicitation regarding this notice will be issued. The closing date for this RPP is 5:00 p.m. Arizona time July 22, 2011. The entire request for project proposals is available at http://www.aqd.nbc.gov/Business/solic_details.aspx?solid=386 NAICS Code: 541712 Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences. The Department of the Interior, National Business Center, Acquisition Services Directorate, Division III, Sierra Vista, Arizona, acting as the contracting agent for the U.S. Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Command is issuing a request for project proposals supporting funded research and development efforts for Joint Services Small Arms Program (JSSAP) for Advanced Small unit Small Arms Technology (ASUSAT), Small Arms Material and Process Technology (SAM&PT) and Demonstration Initiatives, Small Arms Grenade Munitions (SAGM) Integration and Small Arms Weapons & Fire Control (SAW&FC). The RBDP contains specific input from the JSSAP office, PM Soldier Weapons, SOCOM, PM Maneuver Ammunition System and the United States Coast for the eight technology areas. No questions concerning this notice will be accepted by telephone. Eligibility: In order to receive an award under this request for project proposal, offerors must be a member of the National Small Arms Technology Consortium (NSATC). Submission of a proposal prior to execution of a signed NSATC Consortium Member Agreement is soley at the risk of the offeror. Members must be in good standing, as certified by the NSATC Executive Director, for their proposal (s) to be considered for award but not for initial submission. Information on the consortium may be obtained via written request from the issuing agency.
