Description

This notice is provided for informational purposes only. This opportunity is available only to Buccaneer Computer Systems, the current holder of "The National Plan and Provider Enumeration System"( NPPES) task order. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to modify an existing contract to meet mandates of the American Recovery Reinvestments Act (ARRA)of 2009. This task order was awarded to Buccaneer Computer Systems after being competed amongst the Enterprise Systems Development (ESD) IDIQ Contract holders. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) determined this work is within scope of the existing task order and intends to issue a change order under an existing contract with Buccaneer Computer Systems in order to continued Identification and Attestation (I&A) support of the HITECH Act. The task order modification shall be a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) effort, to assist the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in the implementation of the CMS HITECH initiative created by Title XIII of Division A, Health Information Technology, and Title IV of Division B, Medicare and Medicaid Health Information Technology of the ARRA.
