Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Heartland Network, Leavenworth, KS intends to negotiate a contract with Siemens Water Technologies, 602 Lambert Pointe Drive, Hazelwood, MO 63042 under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(l) (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements).This action is to provide the removal, design, and installation of dialysis boxes for Siemens proprietary water systems. The systems shall meet the latest ANSI/AAMI standards for bacteria and LAL limits at the St Louis VA Medical Center, John Cochran Division, 915 North Grand Blvd, St Louis, MO 63106. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation package is available. Interested persons may identify their capability to respond to these requirements by June 16, 2011; 2:00 PM CST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries will only be accepted in writing by e-mail to matthew.finley@va.gov.
