- Description
- NGEN Technical Data Release Synopsis The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) in support of the Naval Enterprise Networks (NEN) Program Management Office (PMW- 205)/ Next Generation Enterprise NGEN) Program is announcing the release of its first iteration of technical data. The contents of this initial release of TD incorporates the data requests of industry solicited as part of an earlier published Request For Information (RFI), and consists of engineering artifacts that have been developed by the NGEN Engineering competency as well as artifacts obtained directly from the incumbent Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI)/Continuity of Service (CoSC) prime contractor. The Government has obtained the appropriate Government Purpose Rights (GPR) to release said data to those companies who have executed the applicable and requisite Non- Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Instructions for executing the appropriate NDA are provided below. Additional TD iterations and releases will follow and be announced through the appropriate channels. MITRE, a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC), is providing a secure server to host the NGEN TDP. The TDP contains a mix of file types that include.doc,.pdf,.vsd, among others. In order to access the TD, all companies must have a fully executed (signed) NGEN Government Purpose Rights (GPR) Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) on file with the NGEN Procurement Contracting Officer (PCO). For companies that do not have a fully executed GPR NDA on file, contact the NGEN PCO support staff at NGENNDA_NGENNDA@bah.com. Please note that there is an underscore between the NGENNDAs (NGENNDA_NGENNDA). Please follow the below instructions to gain access to the TD site hosted by MITRE: To request access to the NGEN MITRE TDP hosting site, send an email request to NGENTDP@bah.com with the subject line NGEN TDP Account Request. All requests must list the name, company and corporate email address of each individual requesting an account. Once it has been verified that a fully executed GPR NDA is on file, NGEN will direct a MITRE representative to begin the process of granting access. A MITRE representative will respond to each individual with a confirmation email and instructions to access the TD. Be advised that obtaining access to the NGEN MITRE TDP hosting site is a multi- step process and individuals requesting access may experience lag times of up to 4 hours between each step, but will not exceed 3 business days for the completion of the entire process. Once the aforementioned steps have been completed, each individual will receive an email from MITRE to acknowledge the granting of access and be prompted to establish a user id and password to access the secure TD site. Please direct all questions regarding the content of the TD to NGENTDP@bah.com. All questions pertaining to technical problems in accessing the NGEN MITRE TDP hosting site should be directed to ngensharepointown@mitre.org. Please engage the PCO staff if difficulties persist.
