Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is W912NR-11-Q-0018. The solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-32, DFARS Change Notice 20090115. This solicitation is 100 % set aside for Total Small Business. The NAICS code assigned to this acquisition is 541620 and small business size standard is $7 million. Award will be made as a firm fixed price contract with 3 year options. The purpose of this project is to conduct a periodic sample and analysis program to determine methods of disposal for these waste streams. All analysis will be performed in accordance with the latest EPA methods. Contractor shall have current LELAP accreditation. Contractor shall provide a per analysis price to be separated by CLINs 1-6, labeled as Tasks in the Scope of Work. Refer to the statement of work for more details regarding this procurement, including associated deliverables. Period of performance shall begin 1 July 2011 - 30 Jun 2012. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Award will be made to the responsible, responsive offeror whose offer will result in the lowest price technically acceptable.
