Description

JOFOC The National Weather Service, Silver Spring, Maryland, intends to solicit and award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract for synthetic lubricating oil, currently being used in the National Weather Service NEXRAD (WSR-88D) systems. This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)) and FAR 6.302-1. The North American Industry Classification System for this acquisition is 324191. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes, however the government will consider all responses received within ten days of publication. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
