Description
Notice of Intent-Special Notice Solicitation No. RG3-11-010 U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Division of Contracts Mail Stop TWB 01 B10M Washington, D.C. 20555 Classification Code: -- General purpose information technology equipment Contracting Office Address: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Office of Administration Division of Contracts 11545 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD 20852-2738 United States SUBJECT LINE: NOTICE IF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER FOR PBX MAINTENANCE The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(b) (1) with Advanced Telecommunications Inc, (ATI) for PBX maintenance. The period of performance for this proposed acquisition is 12 months from August 15, 2011 through August 14, 2012, with four one-year options to extend the term the contract; beginning August 15, 2012. Based on NRC's market research, it is imperative that ATI provide the continued maintenance of the proprietary software of the Avaya system in order to provide continuity through the completion of the installation and follow up service. However, any responsible sources that can demonstrate that they, too, can provide the required maintenance may respond to this notice to so indicate. Any such response to this notice must be in writing and must include clear and convincing evidence of that capability to provide the required renewal, including any written authorization from ATI. Written responses must be submitted to wanda.brown@nrc.gov so that it is received at that email address no later than June 27, 2011. A determination whether to compete this requirement will be based on whether other responsible, authorized sources are identified as a result of this notice. Questions may be submitted to Ms. Brown via email at wanda.brown@nrc.gov. No solicitation document is currently available
