- Synopsis Word doc version Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the opening date. Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, supervision, and any incidentals necessary to paint the exterior surface area of two 400,000 gallon water towers which involves, but not limited to, all piping, structural steel pipe type handrails and tubing, ladders, platforms, and all other appurtenances associated with each one of the steel elevated water tank structure; there is no interior painting. The Air Force logo and Symbol will be painted on each water tower. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the Contractor to perform all work, plant, supervision, management, quality control, labor, tools, equipment, appliances, and other material and performance in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings, and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The work is to take place on Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, TX 76908. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 236220 and the small business size standard is $33.5 million. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Only proposals from small businesses shall be considered for award. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance time shall not exceed 90 calendar days after issuance of the Notice To Proceed (NTP). All responsible sources may submit a proposal to be considered. The solicitation will be available via FedBizOpps website on or about June 30, 2011. The solicitation due date will be on or about August 2, 2011 with anticipated award date on or about August 12, 2011. All requests for clarification relating to this Request For Proposals (RFP) must be brought to the attention of the contract administrator SSgt Chad Manson at (325) 654-5805, faxed to (325)-654-5149, or e-mailed to chad.manson@goodfellow.af.mil. In accordance with FAR 52.236-27 all offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. A site visit will be conducted on or about July 15, 2011. Access to the site will be limited to the organized site visit only. The exact date and time of the site visit and proposal due date will be stated in the solicitation package. The government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the requirements of the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 in order to receive award.
