- Description
- This synopsis is to announce that the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center (ALC), Robins AFB, GA, intends to procure Advisory and Assistance Services supporting the Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) Program Office in sustainment of QRC Electronic Warfare (EW) systems and associated support equipment. Equipment Specialist (ES) Support will be required for this effort. The contracted services will support programs to include, but not limited to: QRC 84-05 Radar Warning Receiver, QRC 81-01 Infrared Countermeasures Set, AN-ALC-196 Countermeasures Set, An/USM-642A Test Set, AN/GLM-10 Test Console, High-Speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM) Targeting System Test Set (HTS TS), AN/ALQ-188A and AN/ALQ-188(V)4 Electronic Attack Pods, ALQ-188(V)4 Simulator Test Set (STS), and the ALQ-188 Chipping Containers. Support services will be accomplished at Robins AFB, GA and will include 1 contractor position per year. The instant contract is anticipated to be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price type instrument. The unit of issue is planned to be monthly. The approximate award date is 31-Aug-2011. The proposed contract action is for a basic year with three one year options and an option to extend services by an additional amxiumu of 6 months. Total Period of Performance will not exceed 4.5 years. An official solicitation is anticipated to be released on or about 28-Jun-2011. The instant procurement will be conducted utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process as established in FAR 15.101-2. The best value is anticipated to be received from the technically acceptable proposal with the lowest evaluated price. In accordance with the policy of FAR 19.1405, this procurement will be set aside for SDVOSB ; accordingly, foreign firms are advised that they are excluded from participating in this acquisition. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government or as a Request for Proposals or Quotes. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified under this notice for additional information and/or to communicated concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors not sufficiently addressed by the Contracting Officer. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the Contracting Officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation or selection process.
