- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service contemplates issuing a solicitation using Small Business Set-Aside procedures and award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract to construct two (2) boardwalks at Hillside National Wildlife Refuge, Holms County Mississippi, 38924, Asset No. 10018227. The NAICS CODE for this project is 237990, Size Standard: $31 Million. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is presently using Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue Requests for Quotations and award Purchase Orders. You must register in EC at website http:///www.ccr.gov. If you have any registration questions, please call 1-886-705-5711. Once registered, solicitations may be viewed online at either http://www.fedbizopps.gov or http://www.ideasec.nbc.gov. For questions at the Department of Interior (EC) site, please call the help desk at (703) 390-6633. This will be the only means of obtaining the solicitation/award. All prospective offerors with access to the internet and an e-mail address can receive electronic notifications of solicitations and awards. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Thus, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is, therefore, incumbent upon any interested parties to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them by the date and time set for receipt of proposals/quotes or amendments thereto, may render the offeror non-responsive and result in the rejection of the offer. All prospective contractors are required to submit or upload their organization Representations and Certifications at https://orca.bpn.gov prior to submitting an offer. Failure to do so will render offers non-responsive. Telephone requests for solicitations/amendments will not be accepted. Solicitation # F11PS00900 will be issued on Tuesday, June 14, 2011. All quotes must be received at this office not later than Thursday, July 7, 2011, 2:00 p.m. EST as specified in the solicitation or any amendments thereto. All interested contractors are urged to conduct a site visit prior to submitting a quote. This is to ensure that interested parties fully understand the project requirement in order to submit fair and reasonable pricing. A Site Visit is scheduled for June 22, 2011 at 10:00AM.
