- Salient Characteristics for SGI Hardware, Maintenance, Support and Replacement of Parts when fail This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for this requirement. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-52 and DFARs Publication Notice (DCN) 20110608. Federal Supply Class/Service (FSC) code is J070. NAICS is 334111 and the size standard in number of employees is 1,000. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside. AFFTC/PKOA, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking to purchase the following service: SGI Hardware Maintenance, Support and Replacement of parts when equipment fails; as listed in the salient characteristics. Interested parties who believe they can meet all the requirements for the items described in this synopsis are invited to submit in writing a complete quote including delivery FOB destination (Edwards AFB, CA 93524). Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this synopsis. Submitted quotes must be received no later than 28 June 2011 at COB 4:30 PM, Pacific Standard Time. Submittal may be through email to david.franklin@edwards.af.mil. Errors in transmission, delay, time difference considerations, are solely the responsibility of the sending party.
