Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical center Providence, is seeking multiple contractors to provide services as part of its Community Based Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) program. This is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Contract with a period of performance August 1, 2011 through July 31, 2012 with four (4) one (1) year options at the discretion of the VA Medical Center. The goal of the HCHV program is to remove homeless Veterans from the street or habitation unfit for Veterans and place them in community-based, residential environments with sufficient therapeutic services to meet the needs of those Veterans. The applicable NAICS code is 624229 and the size standard is $7 Million. Award will be based on the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors include: technical capabilities, past performance, and price. The solicitation is unrestricted. The solicitation package will be made available on or about 06/15/2011. All relevant solicitation documents may be accessed for download on the date of the issue at the following website: www.fbo.gov. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely to the website. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued. All interested parties MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. If you are not registered with CCR, you may access at http://www.ccr.gov. Any Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses or Veteran Owned Small Businesses must be certified in Vet Biz. If you are not certified with Vet Biz, you may access at www.VetBiz.gov.
