- Description
- The following is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. Please DO NOT RESPOND to this notice. The U.S. Military Academy Contracting Office at West Point NY intends to issue a solicitation on or about 30 June 2011. Detailed specifications will be available in the solicitation. This requirement will be set-aside 8(a) competitive. The applicable NAICS code is 238320 with a size standard of $14.0 Million. This notice is not a request for quotes. The tasks include, but are not limited to; cleaning and preparation of all surfaces to be painted or repainted, interior and exterior painting, removal of indicated items and reinstallation of same after painting is completed, wire brush, prime, and paint all ornamental iron work and soffit, trim, and siding, repair/repoint exterior masonry, floor refinishing, lath and plaster work, wall covering work, cleaning & sealing ceramic tile, carpentry work, and removal of lead paint. The above general outline of principal features of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contract to perform all work and furnish all labor, supervision, material, and equipment required to fulfill the intent of these specifications and contract drawings referred to within the solicitation. The award will consist of one (1) base year with four (4) one-year option years for a possible total five of (5) years. This is a requirements type contract. This contract will not be lump sum, instead the project will be completed through the issuance of delivery orders. The price magnitude for this contract will be more than $10 million. The solicitation document will be posted to the FedBizOpps website. The site contains downloading instructions. All information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be available through the FedBizOpps website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the website frequently to make sure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation and any amendments will not be available. As previously stated, the solicitation will be made available to interested parties through FedBizOpps on or about June 30, 2011.
