Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 3), intends to obtain Hazardous Waste Management services for various facilities throughout the New York and New Jersey Region. The Contractor shall provide all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, transportation, equipment and all applicable licenses and permits necessary to ensure proper removal and disposal of hazardous waste The NAICS code 562211 applies with a size standard of $12.5 million. This acquisition is set-aside to Service Disable Veterans Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The contract will be a requirement type and is expected to include a base year beginning July 1, 2011 to September 30, 2011, with four one-year options. The solicitation will be issued on or about June 17, 2011 with an anticipated proposal due date of June 27, 2011 3:00pm. All questions must be in writing and may be emailed to david.shemtob@va.gov. The Offeror is responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the website listed above, without further notification from the VA Contracting Officer.
