- Description
- ***UPDATE: 06-16-2011*** The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) seeks to acquire an integrated electronic Health Record-System (eHR-S) solution to increase efficiency, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve quality of detainee health care. While the long-term goal is full deployment of an eHR-S solution, the program supports an incremental funding approach based on deployable capabilities to accommodate funding constraints. The Government intends to use a modular approach to both acquire and deploy the eHR-S using the GSA Alliant Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) vehicle. The Request for Proposal (RFP) for the first task order is expected to be released in the coming weeks and will include the electronic Medical Record (eMR) and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) requirements. Please continue to monitor FedBizOpps for the latest information regarding the eHR-S effort.
