- Wage rates Statement of Work This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number RFQ-11-4389-09 is issued as a request for quotations and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through FAC 97-09. FAR 52.219-6 Notice of Total Small Business Set-A-Side is applicable to this acquisition. The NAICS code is 238990. The small business size standard is $14 Million. Asphalt - Repaving Parking Lot 1.0 Introduction The scope of work for this project shall be to repave existing drives and parking areas using a single bituminous surface treatment, tack coat and 1.5 inch asphaltic concrete wearing course. The existing areas to be paved consist of 8,625 square yards. All area shall be cleaned and needed repairs completed prior to paving. Bids will include adjustment to manhole rings or valve boxes. 2.0 Definitions FAR - Federal Acquisition Regulations ORCA - Online Representations and Certifications Application 3.0 Site Visitation Bidders are encouraged to visit the site and fully inform themselves as to the location of the work and the conditions under which the work is to be done prior to submitting a bid. Contact: Hector Rodriguez 229-995-7418 Main number: 229-995-7400 4.0 Inspection of Construction The contractor shall maintain an adequate inspection system and perform such inspections a will ensure that the work called for by this contract conforms to contract requirements. The contractor shall maintain complete inspection records and make them available to the government. All work shall be conducted under the general direction of the Contracting Officer and is subject to Government inspection and test at all places and at all reasonable time before acceptance to ensure strict compliance with the terms of the contract. Estimated Cost $50,000-$80,000 Delivery shall be FOB Destination. Evaluation of quotations will be made based on price and specifications. The government anticipates award of a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the specifications will be most advantageous to the government. PAYMENT: Any award made under this solicitation is subject to 31 CFR Part 208 which requires all payments made by the government to be made by electronic transfer. This procurement requires the use of biobased products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably priced. Where available, these products should first be acquired from among qualified products that fall under the umbrella of items designated through the USDA BioPreferred Program. Vendor MUST send descriptive literature. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a similar commercial sale, provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. Acceptance of the standard commercial warranty does not waive the Government's rights under the Inspection clause nor does it limit the Governments's rights with regard to the other terms and conditions of this contract. In the event of a conflict, the terms and conditions of the contract shall take precedence over the standard commercial warranty. The contractor shall provide a copy of its standard commercial warranty (if applicable) with its response.
