- ****Amendment 1 is hereby issued to extend the due date for submitting a quote to June 28, 2011 9:00AM EST.*** The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) intends to procure measurement and testing of recreational off-highway vehicle (ROV) characteristics, to include the following: static tilts, dynamic tests, Static measurements, dynamic occupant protection performance tests. THE CONTRACTOR MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM ALL TESTS NOTED IN THE STATEMENT OF WORK. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for vehicle measurement characteristics as stated in the attached statement of work. The following provisions and clauses are enclosed in the solicitation attachment: 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5. ALL QUOTES MUST BE VALID THROGUH AUGUST 31, 2011. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 541712 and 500 respectively. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. If you are interested in this award, then please complete the attached RFQ as follows: 1. Cover sheet (standard form 1449) - Block 17 with the contractor's name, DUNS number, address and telephone number must be complete. The signature, name and title of an individual authorized to commit the company must complete blocks 30a, b and c of the Standard Form 1449. All quoters must have a Tax Identification number and be registered with the Central Contracting registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award of this contract. 2. Please review the Statement of Work found on pages 6 through 12. 3. Review the Additional Information to Quoters section (pages 13-16). This portion of the RFQ will also provide instruction on submitting your quotation. 4. Complete the Offerors Representation and Certification found on pages 24 through 34. 5. Please email all questions to aahmad@cpsc.gov no later than June 10 at 10AM EST. (no calls please).
