- Description
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Sacramento Fish and Wildlife Office, Sacramento California is soliciting bids to continue monitoring activity of juvenile Chinook salmon produced by the Stanislaus River in the Central Valley of California. Monitoring with rotary screw traps since 1995 the number of juvenile Chinook salmon. The term of this contract will be from October 1, 2011 to September 30, 2016. Caswell State Park (CSP), located at river mile 8.6 on the Stanislaus River in Stanislaus County, California The activities described in this project involves the collection, recording, analysis, and reporting of rotary screw trap (RST) data, such that annual production estimates and 95% confidence intervals of juvenile salmon are produced, and field data are of such quality they can be used to evaluate temporal trends in salmon production and make inferences about effects relating to habitat restoration activities. All work will be done in compliance with protocols and standards developed by the USFWS's Comprehensive Assessment and Monitoring Program. Place/Delivery and Period of Performance:The place of performance will be at CSP, located at river mile 8.6 on the Stanislaus River in Stanislaus County, California. The period of performance for the contract is October 1, 2011 - September 30, 2016. Basis for award is best value. The RFQ #F11PS00866 will be available on or before June 17th, 2011.The NAICS is 541990. The small business size standards are no more than $5 million annually. Any firm that believes they are capable of meeting the USFWS requirements described herein may submit a response no later than 06/27/2011.
