Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Risk Industries LLC, Westlake, OH for the procurement of QTY (1) each Modification Kit and Tool Set Pilot Production Unit, QTY (18) Modification Kit -Production, QTY (10) Tool Sets- Production, and one (1) Option Year for a QTY (8) Tool Sets. The tool sets include bend dies, clamps, and mandrels to support the bending process. The modification kit will allow for the manual enter of bend data by the operator. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data drawings or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
