Description

The Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source, commercial contract, utilizing procedures under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, for a one (1) Year as a Full Circle Support Partner/Sponsorship Package to the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) in support of Commander, Naval Recruiting Command, Millington, Tennessee. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. The basis for the use of other than full and open competition is that AISES, the proposed source, is the only source managing the event. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 813920; the small business size standard is $14.0M. The period of performance is September 21, 2011 through September 20, 2012. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all information received within five days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement on a full and open basis based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
