Description
RFP, SoW, Terms and Conditions, DoL Wage Determination, Past Performance Survey and Lead Paint Report. THIS REQUIREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR 8(a) BUSINESSES ONLY. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238190, Welding, On-Site, Contractors. The small business size is $14.0 million. This requirement takes place at the north loading dock, US Department of Commerce locate at 1401 Constitution Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20230. This requirement is for the removal of steel plates mounted to the walls on the east and west sides of the north loading dock. This contract will require the contractor to furnish all supervision, labor, parts, materials, tools and equipment to successfully perform the necessary demolition without damaging surrounding wall and floor. The performance of this requirement cannot interfere with the day-to-day operation of the loading dock during normal business hours Monday through Friday. Therefore, the work is limited to weekends only, between the hours of 8:00 PM EST Friday and 5:00 AM EST Monday and may extend over more than one weekend. All waste, materials, supplies and equipment must be removed prior to the 5:00 AM Monday end time so it does not cause any problems during the normal business day. A site visit has been scheduled for Thursday, June 23, 2011 and is to commence precisely at 1:00 PM EST and end at 3:00 PM EST. Pictures, video and measurements may be taken during this visit. A set of architectural drawings are provided in this solicitation, 8 ½ x 11. The selected contractor shall be given a full size set ("D" Size) of drawings at time of award. The Project Manager will be on-hand during the visit for any technical questions. No contracting questions will be answered at this time. In accordance with FAR Sub Part 36.204 - Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the magnitude of construction for this project is estimated to be less than $25,000. The Government intends to award one firm-fixed-price contract. Source selection will be based on the best value trade-off process.
