Description

Department of Veterans Affairs Network 21 Network Contracting Activity plans to issue a Request for Proposal for construction services for Research Lab Renovations in Bldg. 2 at the VA Medical Center San Francisco located at 4150 Clement Street, San Francisco, CA 94121. Scope of Work includes the following: demolition, renovation, installation, and finishes. Work shall be in accordance with the drawings and specifications. This construction project will be set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). All prospective contractors must be registered on the VetBiz website, www.vetbiz.gov. In accordance with the class deviation on VAAR 804.1102 Vendor Information Pages (VIP) Database effective October 1, 2010, all SDVOSB firms must be verified by the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) prior to receiving an award under the program. SDVOSB also must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible to receive an award under the program. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on www.fedbizopps.gov. The NAICS Code is 236220 and small business size is $33.5 Million applies. Magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. This is a Pre-Solicitation announcement only. Solicitation documents will be available on or about July 11, 2011. Solicitation will contain proposal instructions. Interested offerors are responsible to monitor and download the solicitations, drawings and specifications.
