Description
MARKET SURVEY Transmitters The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Picatinny located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, is conducting a market survey to locate capable firms to provide the following Transmitters (P/N: TTS4XO-SYN-0.25(ANT) -0.3: Eight (8) Transmitters with four (4) additional procurement options of thirty-two (32) per option. The transmitter should measure < 0.3 inches tall x 1.5 inches in diameter, with integral surface mounted omni-direction antenna. The transmitter shall provide an radiate the RF Output Power of 0.5 watt (+1.0/-0.5 dB). The unit shall be highly efficient (<0.400 Amperes) and operate over a wide dynamic range of power input voltages (5-40 Vdc) while consuming a constant input power (switching regulator front end). The unit shall be completely housed in a rugged enclosure such that EMI and EMC susceptibility and radiation is limited (except by virtue of the intentional integral antenna). The unit shall be potted to assure survivability at levels up to and greater than 50,000 gs of shock. The unit shall be field selectable for center frequency without opening the unit via a single wire interface. Firms shall provide technical data with their submission. Brochures or manuals may be submitted. This Market Survey is for information and planning purposes only, and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP). This Market Survey is not to be construed as a commitment by the U. S. Government. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this Market Survey. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. All information submitted will be held in a confidential status and will not be returned. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this Market Survey. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this survey or results of information submitted. Please submit your responses NLT 1500hrs (3:00 PM) EST, 30 June 2011.
