Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to procure three (3) Flash-X System in ruggedized case; three (3) Wireless X-Ray Kit for Flat Panel Systems; Six (6) XRS-3 X-Ray Source; three (3) Digital Video Wireless System for flat panels; three (3) Organic Detection System with XR-Source; three (3) XR-200/XRS-3 Cable Adapter; and three (3) XR-200/XRS-3 Cable Adapter. The proposed procurement is being processed on an other than full and open competitive basis pursuant to the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Delta X-Ray, Inc. on a sole source basis for this requirement. Delta X-Ray is currently the only known provider of x-ray equipment identical to existing equipment currently in use. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by the specified response date. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
