- Description
- The intent of this construction project is to provide for drainage upgrades for Forest Service Road 41, Tupso Pass Road on the Darrington Ranger District of the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest. The work consists of but is not limited to culvert upgrades, riprap and sufacing for FSR 41 sites and for the other roads listed (FSR 4130, 4131, 4100035, and 4150), the removal and disposal of all culverts and construction rock drainage dips to fit the original drainage channel. Other items include clearing and turf removal and replacement, The project is located on Forest Service Road 41, Tupso Pass Road on the Darrington Ranger District in Township 31N, Range 8E, numerous Sections. To reach the project site, travel 8 miles east of Granite Falls, Washington on Mountain Loop Hwy (FSR 20) to the intersection of FSR 41. Travel north on FSR 41 approiximately 5 miles to the beginning of the project. A district map showing the road system is available for viewing at the Verlot Public Service Center 11 miles east of Granite Falls, WA or at the Darrington Ranger Station office north on Hwy 530 in Darrington, WA. The estimated issue date of the Solicitation is on or about July 7, 2011. The estimated start work date is August 22, 2011. Contract time is approximately 250 days. The Government's estimated price range is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The project is 100% set aside for HUBzone small business. Bonding will be required.
