Description

This is a Presolicitation notice for Construction Roof Top Recreation Areas, Project No. 632-08-128. Description of Work: Work includes, but not limited to, general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, plumbing and utility systems, necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items as to construct a new Roof Top Recreation Area as indicated on the Contract Drawings and Specifications. All work shall take place at the Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, New York 11768. This shall be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. As a result all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220 and has a size standard of $33.5 Million. The cost estimate is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation, technical specifications and drawings which shall be posted on www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation will be released on or around July 8, 2011. The bid submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and all bid submissions shall be via hardcopy; faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted. All bidders shall be registered in www.ccr.gov, www.vetbiz.gov, and www.orca.bpn.gov
