- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT 802nd CONS on Lackland AFB, San Antonio, Texas, intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to United Laboratories, Inc, 320 37th Avenue, Saint Charles, IL 60174-5464, for Floor Care Products. This sole source requirement meets the conditions of FAR 13.106-1(b) (1); only one responsible source has been identified as reasonably available to provide the supplies that will satisfy the agency requirements. United Laboratories is the only known manufacturer and distributor that can provide the necessary product. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 325612 and the Small Business size standard is 500 employees. This will be a firm fixed price contract. The purchase of this requirement includes the following: 0001 - Product number 263 - Bio-Fog -- QTY 250 EA 0002 - Product number 291 - Shining Armor Floor Wax -- QTY 1500 EA 0003 - Product number 61 - Wax stripper -- QTY 1500 EA Interested parties are required to provide equal parts meeting the above brand name requirements. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, however all responsible sources that believe they can meet all of the requirements may submit a quote, which shall be considered.
