- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FORSPECTRORADIOMETER. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. Thisnotice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendmentwill not be issued.The purpose of this amendment is to answer the questions below and add a requirement. Question 1: When measuring RGB display, a sphere based system is used. Your RFQ notesonly a spectrometer. Does this mean you already have a sphere, or you dont want asphere?If you do want a full measurement system, can you tell me the sample size that you wantto measure? This will determine the port dimensions required.Answer 1: NASA does not have a sphere for measuring the RGB display. NASA requireswhatever is necessary to perform all the measurements listed. Question 2: Is an extended warranty required? Answer 2: No.The additional requirement needed is to specify that the the RGB display calibrationshall contain a full measurement system with at least one inch resolution within 10%tolerance.The due date for receipt of offers is not extended.Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASAAcquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on June 17, 2011. Documents related to thisprocurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web(WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
