- Terms and Conditions/Maintenance Requirements This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. The RFQ number ED-FSA-11-R-0011. Federal Student Aid intends to issue a Firm Fixed-Price contract for maintenance renewal for its MicroStrategy software maintenance. The period of performance is 1 July 2011 through 30 June 2013 and 2 one-year option periods thereafter. The maintenance support will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 443120. Please see the attachment for a detailed list of this requirement and the terms and conditions. It is the responsibility of the vendor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. Central Contractor Registration (CCR), vendors must be registered in the CCR database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/. Interested vendors shall provide a quote for the proposed maintenance including two (2) one-year option periods for maintenance renewal out-years. Quotes will only be considered from offerors authorized to resell maintenance and support services for the MicroStrategy suite of products specified in the RFQ.
